ECOPROTEC Rust Stain Remover

ECOPROTEC Rust Stain Remover is a high-performance treatment developed specifically for the effective removal of surface rust stains from paving, tiles and natural stone.

Its fast-acting formula targets rust staining caused by standing metal objects, garden furniture, tools, lawn fertilisers and other sources of iron contamination. The treatment acts directly on the affected area and can remove surface rust stains in as little as 15 minutes.

Unlike conventional acidic rust removers, ECOPROTEC Rust Stain Remover features a non-acidic and non-caustic formulation. Therefore, it is particularly well suited to more delicate applications, including polished marble and limestone, where choosing the correct cleaning product is essential.

The versatile formula can be used across a wide range of paving and hard surfaces, including porcelain, sandstone, limestone, slate, granite, brick, terracotta and concrete. This makes it an excellent choice for treating localised rust marks on patios, paths, driveways and other paved areas.

For best results, always follow the product instructions and test on a small, inconspicuous area before treating the entire surface.

Directions For Use

• Preparation: Ensure surface to be treated is completely free from dust and dirt before application. If necessary, first wash area with ECOPROTEC Intensive cleaner diluted 1:10 with water).
• Application: shake well before use. Do not dilute. Completely cover the rust stain with the product. Leave to act for 15 minutes. The product colour will change to a deep purple as it reacts with the rust. Once the indicated time has elapsed, scrub the area with a deck brush or nylon scrubbing pad and extract the residue using a sponge. Thoroughly rinse with plenty of water and leave to dry. Repeat application until the stain is completely removed.

For best results ensure that the surface temperature is between 5-25°C before applying.

Aftercare

Routinely sweep and wash surfaces. Clean and mop surfaces with ECOPROTEC General Cleaner.

Storage Information

Keep upright in a cool dry place. Shelf life: Once opened use within 6 months of purchase for optimum results.
