ECOPROTEC Cement, Grout & Salt Residue Remover is a powerful, rapid-action cleaning solution developed to remove stubborn installation and mineral residues from paving, tiles and unpolished natural stone.

Ideal for post-installation cleaning, it effectively tackles cement residues, grout stains, efflorescence, salt deposits and similar marks that can remain on surfaces after laying or grouting. It can also help reduce spot-fixing residues, making it a valuable cleaning product for both professional installers and property owners.

Using acid replacement technology, ECOPROTEC Cement, Grout & Salt Residue Remover provides an effective alternative for cleaning suitable stone and paving surfaces. Depending on the severity of the contamination, the product can be used either diluted for general cleaning or in a more concentrated form for stubborn deposits.

The cleaner is suitable for a wide variety of outdoor paving materials, including porcelain, sandstone, limestone, slate, granite, brick, terracotta and concrete. It can also be used on all types of unpolished natural stone.

Important: This product is intended for unpolished natural stone. Always check the suitability of the cleaner for the specific surface before use.

Directions For Use

Always test/practice on an inconspicuous area before proceeding to ensure that the finished result is satisfactory. This product is not suitable for highly polished natural stones. Shake container well before use.

• In mild cases and on non-absorbent surfaces: Dilute 1 part Cement, Grout & Salt Residue Remover in 4 parts cool water. Apply evenly to the surface using a light pressure sprayer or watering can. Leave for up to 30 minutes keeping surfaces wet with more solution if necessary. Scrub with a deck brush or nylon scrubbing pad and rinse water.
• In more severe cases: Dilute 1 part Cement, Grout & Salt Residue Remover in 1-part cool water. Apply liberally and agitate immediately using deck brush, nylon scrubbing pad or rotary scrubbing machine. Leave to for 5-10 minutes, keeping surfaces wet with additional solution. Scrub again and rinse with water.
• In extremely severe cases: Dampen the surface with a little water and apply undiluted. Agitate with a nylon pad, scrubbing brush or mechanical scrubber. Immediately extract using a good quality sponge or wet vac and rinse thoroughly with clean water. N.B. Always rinse surfaces thoroughly with cool clean water.

Storage Information

Store in a cool, dry, frost-free environment ideally at 5 – 25°C. Shelf life up to 2 years if container is unopened.

Notes

Not suitable for use on surfaces that are highly polished, (i.e., polished marble, polished travertine, or polished limestone). Any contaminated surface should be rinsed off immediately with plenty of clean water. Do not use when surfaces are very cold or very hot. Ideally between 5 – 25°C.

Causes skin irritation. Causes serious eye irritation. Keep out of reach of children. If medical advice is needed, have product container to hand. Wash hands thoroughly after handling. Wear protective gloves, protective clothing, eye protection, face protection. IF ON SKIN: Wash with plenty of water. IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. If skin irritation occurs: Get medical advice/attention. If eye irritation persists: Get medical advice/attention.
